Yoon Eun Hye has recently decided to be more active on Twitter and has posted a string of new tweets on her official account (1003Grace)!
She didn’t tweet much since creating her Twitter account back in March, but has decided to be more active on Twitter as a way to connect to friends and fans as well. She explained why in a tweet, of course:
조그만한 창을통해 소통하는 이공간이 조금 두렵고 부정적이었는데..감성다큐미지수 라는프로그램을통해 어떤부분에선 따뜻할수있다는 생각이들었습니다. 저도이곳에서 마음을 조금 열었을때 .. 상처받지않길 바라며 ..천천히다가가려합니다!
I was a bit afraid and didn’t look favorably of this space in which we use a small window to communicate. But after watching the ‘Kam Sung Docu: Mi Ji Soo (Sensible Documentary, KBS)’, I realized that in many ways, it could be a space filled with warmth. I also want to open up in this space… hoping that I wouldn’t get hurt… I plan to slowly move closer!
But being a celebrity and increasing her visibility online at sites like Twitter is not without its downside and she shortly followed up with another tweet, responding to an anti who has been harassing her with hurtful words.
I’m a bit confused whether you’re trying to gain attention or sincerely trying to counsel me with your hurting words… Since you’ve done enough to my acquaintance as well… I hope that you’ll stop now… I’m a mute even if I get hurt by people like you… because I’m not in a position that allows me to respond… So, please stop.
It became known that Yoon Eun Hye was upset with hateful words and harsh criticisms on her Twitter account. This left people wondering about Yoon Eun Hye’s response. The reaction from the netizens were overwhelmingly positive and supportive:
“I don’t know why people are so evil at times, if they have time to post a hateful reply they should look after themselves more.”
“I hope Ms. Yoon Eun Hye remembers that there are many more people who wants her to do well.”
“People who post hate words all have inner personality of murderers. They post without much thoughts and it hurts other people. I hope that all the people who use keyboards understand that their actions can even bring out at worst, suicide attempts. I hope Yoon Eun Hye gains strength and we’ll be able to see her on TV soon.”
“I love you Yoon Eun Hye.”
Even non-fans showed support by responding:
“My girlfriend loves you.”
“I’m not a fan of Yoon Eun Hye, but she is the nicest, hardest working, and most honest celebrity in Korea today. Leave her alone.”
“Retards have problems with the way she talks, wears makeups, dresses, and smiles..yet they follow her every move. Obsessive and retarded much?.”
“I like her. How come people always bother her? These Geh-ti-zens should stop. Maybe they just don’t like her looks or something. They should go look in the mirror and get some psychiatric help.”
[Geh-ti-zen is another slang form of Netizen in which "net" is replaced by "Geh" or "Gae" which means "dog" in Korean]
Yoon Eun Hye remains much loved and let’s hope whoever has been harassing Yoon Eun Hye stops!

Was he posting in korean or english? and as well I must say that you guys handled the issue like real gangstas from the streets, you guys took the poor guy out of twitter, I hope nobody does it to me for calling her cute.
He was doing it in English. He was making very crude sexual remarks and actual threats against YEH. Actually he’s still doing it under a different account almost everyday. He’s clearly not mentally sound and we’re pretty much ignoring him now. I’m sure YEH has blocked him already.
