Yoon Eun Hye's character and loyalty puts her above other stars
Actress Yoon Eun Hye is being praised by the Korean entertainment industry for being a “Loyal Lady”. She has maintained her involvement in the drama, Love Song, despite male lead Park Yong Ha’s passing in June.
Love Song was about to begin filming with Park Yong Ha and Yoon Eun Hye as the leading actors, but the production halted due to Park Yong Ha’s unexpected death. Even the time slot reserved at KBS was canceled, leaving the production drifting without answers. And other actors who were supposed to appear in the drama left the production one by one.
It was definitely possible for Yoon Eun Hye to change her mind as well. But she didn’t leave Love Song. Although she’s been sitting without acting for a year since filming My Fair Lady last August, she maintained a strong loyalty towards Love Song.
Verdi Media’s CEO, Yoon Young Ha stated:
“I’m very thankful towards Ms. Yoon Eun Hye. If it were any other actor, they would have left a long time ago. If the production doesn’t go as scheduled, some actors bring lawsuits against the production and use legal warfare just to leave, even after taking a signing bonus and some pay. But Ms. Yoon Eun Hye is keeping her promise even without any signing bonus or pay.”
Verdi Media, determined to repay Yoon Eun Hye for her loyalty, has postponed filming of Love Song to next Spring upon hearing that Yoon Eun Hye was offered the main lead in a movie, My Black Mini Dress. They have decided to wait for her so that she can film the movie first. Yoon Eun Hye is in final preparations for My Black Mini Dress. When the casting becomes official, it will be her first movie since Escaping Charisma in 2006.

A good virtue is hard to find nowadays whether in showbiz or not. But to know of Eun Hye’s loyalty and patience is inspiring. Just what Verdi Productions said other actors would have been doing all legal means possible to get out from the commitment but this one good woman is waiting .

If Verdi is able to finish and air ‘Love Song’ as planned, Yoon Eun Hye would have saved yet another production company. If Yoon Eun Hye leaves ‘Love Song’, the project is dead. It’s amazing that the production company of ‘My Fair Lady’ is now considered the “advertisement sellout kings of production companies” in Korea today, and they would have gone bankrupt if Yoon Eun Hye had not waited and left the production of ‘My Fair Lady’.
I think that’s why YEH has been “crowned” as the most influential actress in Korea because everything she did have good impact to others. Not just to her co-star but to the production co. she’s been collaborated too. She’s really has a magic touch
