I watch the episode twice, with the translation to what KEB said refer to male, so I don't really pay attention much to this at the time... But knowing that she meant to an actress and especially to YEH... oh I really cant believe this.

I will never believe that YEH had done such a thing... never even once. And it's impossible, too. I though KEB was trying to be funny and weirdo every time she's on TV... but not may be not anymore kind of thinking of her. I dislike her now.

Innuendos and keeping anonymity of the people concerned in interviews are very irresponsible moves resulting to Catch 22 (dam if you explain, damn if you don't explain) situations for the person being blindly and maliciously referred to.

I feel bad for Eunhye onni. She is the innocent one that being dragged to this mess by some attention seeker. From her earlier tweets, I thought YEH was ok coz she indirectly told us to just forgive KEB. But now I realize that Eunhye must have been through a very difficult time. Been in the industry for more than a decade, showing everyone her great persona, yet there are people doubting her for this poor behavior!

Actress YEH responded to the recent Kang Eun Bi scandal by explaing her feelings about the unfair criticism.

YEH posted a long statement titled,"finally" (a little late) on her mini home page and stated, "I'm able to write this because of the strength I receive from the people who believes in me and stands by my side.

YEH had went through difficult times because Kang Eun Bi appeared on KBS 2TV Star Golden Bell and stated that a main actor/actress who she had once worked with, hit her with the script in the past. YEH was implicated, and since had experienced difficult times.

When YEH and Lee Soo Kyung were implicated and the news became a major story, Kang Eun Bi stated on her mini hompage that the rumors contained exageration and that she hoped people wouldn't harshly criticize other people (actors/actresses).

YEH stated that she found out about her name being linked to the scandal through the supporting text messeges that she began receiving few days earlier. But she "couldn't say anything and couldn't answer anything.." because she felt that "both responding or not responding seemed like the wrong thing to do."

YEH stated, "while such events are something that I'm used to, it's still painful because it hurts and frustrates the fans, family and collegues who believes in me."

YEH further stated, "I think that the person who exposed this scandal is going through even more difficult times now. She must have gone through the painful experience of that event previously (getting hit by the script), and by the event becoming a such a big scandal now, she must be going through a very diffult time right now."

YEH added, "Of course I'm also going through a very difficult time as well. I wondered why I was being linked to the scandal. I wondered if the misunderstanding situation came about because of I'm always trying to imporve..because I'm always lacking."

YEH also mentioned a scandal that occured a year ago.

"I remember crying because a cable station program had recreated and reported an event that had someone, who everyone obviously would have guessed that it's me, cursing and hitting another person. When the reporters began saying that the event must of have occurred because YEH has an honest personality, it made me even sadder.
I wondered if this was the perception that I gave people. I wondered if I'm only that much of a person. It saddened me that I couldn't be the person who had shown people everything up to that point."

YEH said,

"I didn't know that the effort to show bright, honest & healthy personality on variety shows whould have people not believe in me. If people have misconceptions of me because of the events that occured on the variety shows, and if my simple thoughts of trying to make people enjoy and laugh was something wrong, I'm at fault for that. I didn't mean to come off as a person who would curse or hit someone..."

In regards to Kang Eun Bi, she stated..
"The situation with her was also different than what we showed on the variety shows. Because I didn't know her well, she was not a comfortable person. And we also didn't have many opportunities to talk to each other on the set. I was also a new actress at the time, and was not in a position to comfortably talk to someone. And Making a commotion, throwing things, and doing such a thing to a collegue is something that I can't even imagine happening even today."

YEH added,
"Working in a profession that receives love from people for the past 10 yrs, I thought being misunderstood, receiving criticisms and curses were a part of my life and I accepted them humbly. But for the past few days, my mind has been burdened with the issue of whether I wasn't honest enough to receive such misunderstadings and began questioning myself.

YEH stated,
"The reason why I wasn't able to say anything about such rumors and scandals for the past few years is because I didn't want anyone to get hurt, and I didn't want anyone to hate anyone...

I still don't know if I should be writing this statement, but I'm cautiously writing this to relieve some worries of my fans, co workers, family, and people who are hurt because of the untruthful rumors and accusations of unjustly claiming that YEH was staying quite because she is the one who did it.

I believe that the people who spreads untruthful words to exagerate the situation are more wrong than the person who made the untruthful remark. If it's not something to forgive or something that's wrong, a strong advice of caution will be appreciated. But I hope that there will be many people who will think of the difficult position for the person involved and graciously accept the person with an open mind. I will strive to become more humble and work harder to become a more acceptable person in the future."

Here are my thoughts on EunBi's statements issue

Now, please understand that I don't know much about YEH..
I mean u guys knows alot more than me, so my thoughts were almost from the point of a neutral observer.

The funny thing about this..

When I first saw the news, I didn't think much of it at first. But just thought that it was wrong that a celeb comes on T.V. and talk about things that can defame other celebs. I thought what happens on a set is private business, and it should be dealt amongst themselves not on national T.V.. Saying it on T.V. and insinuating who the person is an attact on open forum.

Then I began seeing YEH's name linked to it on internet. I started to worried because The Vineyard Man is my dad's favorite drama and he adores YEH (Coffee Prince is his second favorite~LOL). I was worried that my dad would be very disappointed if he read the news on net
So I did some surfing on net to find out what's going on so that I can explain it to him.

I guess it became pretty clear fast that it couldn't have happened on the Vineyard Man since Kang Eun Bi's role wasn't big to begin with (she wasn't one of the important characters from the start), and she didn't leave the show very early. I believe EunBi said that her role became smaller after this incident and that she eventually left the show early, right? So, it seemed obvious that it must have been someone else, not YEH, who did this to EunBi.

But the more I thought about it, this seemed kinda hard to believe that anyone did this to her.
I mean, no sane actor/actresses would do such a thing in front of the director.
This person who did this is suppose to have been pretty new in acting at the time, and he/she would do such a thing? in front of the staff, the director, EunBi's manager on site and possibly other older, senior actors? That would almost be a professional suicide and...
I think if such thing would have taken place, it would have already been a news while ago. It would definitely have been leaked much earlier by someone who was there. Heck, her manager on site or a staff member would have leaked it even if the director and other actors kept it quite. Her manager probably would have used this to get EunBi exposure back then!!

I think that EunBi probably (give her the benefit of the doubt) probably wanted to say something that would get her statement noticed and get her some exposure, but didn't think that it would end up this big of an issue. I think she actually didn't think out that when she gave info on the person who did this, it would implicate a certain big name person that would lead to further examination of her statement. Saying that the person is a "top star" today was probably just to gain further interest. In the end, I think she simply wanted to make some noise. But I do think that the PD's of the program knew...that YEH's name would make this a huge issue, and they purposely didn't edit this segment and used it to gain exposure. <_<

The whole thing sounds made up to be honest. Smr breaks down KEB's statements quite well and it just seems not to point to anyone. Only the "top star" statements points to YEH but then nothing else fits. And everyone who's worked with YEH never had anything even remotely bad to say about her. If they didn't like YEH but were afraid to tick off fans, they would just say nothing. But her colleagues have always said very good things.

Funny thing, I originally saw the title of that post from Allkpop in my RSS reader the day before, didn't read it, and forgot about. The next day everyone was talking about rumors or whatever and I was so confused. I figured it must've been on allkpop so I went back and skimmed through some posts until I saw the KEB one.

It's likely just an attention grab by KEB. Her career's been in the drain for a while.

Although YEH may have made her official acting debut in 2004, it was very short-lived and not worth a few more lines in her resume. I read the news and thought to myself that it could probably be linked to Eunhye onni and it's not gonna be pretty.
And sure enough, I saw articles with "Top Star Miss Y." added to this. Though they did NOT confirm it, but the speculation is bad enough to tarnish one's name and reputation.

Do I believe it?
No. Hell no! Not in a million years.

IF KEB did refer to YEH (and she did make it boil to only one person left), I have something to say...

First off, Please remember that during The Vineyard Man era, YEH was still relatively considered as a "newbie" in term of acting. And hitting her in front of the whole cast and crew? Plus, everyone (let me emphasize it) EVERYONE in TVM team love Yoon Eun Hye. Even veteran actor Lee Soon Jae (he played as YEH's grandpa) who is a very respective senior in the industry. He used to said he does not approve of those singer-turn-actors coz he felt they were just riding their popularity and not their talent. But up-to-date, Yoon Eun Hye is the only singer-turn-actress he acknowledge the talent of. And THAT! in itself, says a lot.

I don't wanna get bitchy just because this is rant corner of a YEH fans community. But whose words are more credible to you? A nobody actress who the only thing she's good at is telling sob stories to gain some sympathy and interest, OR those people who worked in this industry for years and Yoon Eunhye onni whom we all have seen her great persona & manners & humbleness & etc. etc.

What made me really happy is that not just us fans that do not believe it is true, but netizens in general knows better whose words they should believe. i'm sure by now, most of you will have heard of or read up on the latest news on KEB and her controversial remarks on Star Golden Bell.
well, ive finally watched the cut of it, and i just thought i should break it down for better understanding. Better understanding of just how stupid this whole situation is and how irresponsible and naive it was of KEB to have made those remarks.

What Kang Eun Bi said:

MC: what's this about you getting hit by a script?
KEB: "I had a scene with the main star of the drama, where I made about 4 NG's. The person, who was sitting on his/her script, took the script out from underneath him/her and threw it at my face, saying to me 'you debuted before me but why can't you act any better?' - in front of all the staff and crew. In the end, my role was getting smaller and smaller and I eventually officially left the drama."
MC: and this person who threw the script is still active?
KEB: this person is a top star

The facts:

- YEH made her debut into the entertainment scene in 1999
- YEH made her first unofficial acting debut in 2002 in "Emergency Act"
- YEH made her first OFFICIAL acting debut in KBS 2TV's sitcom "Bang Bang" in 2004 ([url="http://news.naver.com/main/read.nhn?mode=LSD&mid=sec&sid1=106&oid=079&aid=0000013617"]source[/url])

- KEB's role was small, but as mentioned above, it was small from the beginning but she NEVER left the drama. Although she did not appear in the final episode, her final scene was shown in episode 15 and IIRC, she even attended the after-party.

The assumptions:

- The only thing that links KEB's story to YEH is pretty much this remark and this this remark alone. and the only reason why this whole thing is still garnering so much attention and media overuse is because it links to "top star Miss Y". - out of all the ones she's acted alongside, YEH is undeniably the "top star" of them all.
- however, although there are undeniable top stars (eg YEH), there are also those who some ppl regard as a top star where others dont. So in this case, this could apply to KEB and her "top star" remark.
- so given assumption to KEB's subjectivity to the words "top star" it now doesnt include YEH but others as well.

So all in all, it's NOT Yoon Eun Hye.
I know, us as fans who have followed YEH, know of her as a person through her many interviews, deeds etc and know of her through others' words about YEH, would NEVER have even assumed that that person is YEH. And we sure as hell don't need the above facts and so forth to prove that it's not YEH, but for the sake of being rational and objective about the situation, where there's all the facts that proves that it is not and cannot be YEH.

I just never want to see YEH's good name and reputation be brought down by some attention seeking nobody who thought yet another sob story would bring her some fame, despite it's repercussions on innocent others.
