Lie To Me Wins In Ratings

Eversince the korean series Lie To Me started airing since June 18 in the Philippines, this romantic-comedy Asiannovela series shown on GMA station, has been making the filipino viewers hearts flutter and it has been putting a smile on the audiences faces.

This primetime series is topbilled by Yoon Eun Hye as Angela Gong and Kang Ji Hwan as Kenneth Hyun.

Lie To Me received a good response from the viewers after it has received high ratings from the very first episode based on Nielsen TV audience Measurement.
According to the overnight household data which was recorded in Urban Luzon starting June 18-July 13, Lie To Me garnered an average household audience share of 38.4 points. Urban Luzon comprises the entire 77% of total television households nationwide.

In Mega Manila, Lie To Me garnered 39.4 points. Mega Manila is comprised of 58 percent of total television households nationwide.

The story started with the main characters Kenneth Hyun (Kang Ji Hwan) and Angela (Yoon Eun Hye) pretending to be husband and wife. In the beginning, the two didn't get along and fought like cats and dogs, but as time went by, the two started falling for one another.

So what will finally happen now that they have fallen inlove? Will they finally turn their "fake marriage" into reality or will there be many hindrances to their blossoming relationship?

Last week I went to mysoju site just to see some of the latest Kdrama that worthy to watch and their list of the most watch drama of that week the no. 1 is " I do, I do"; 2nd is "Big"; 3rd "A gentleman's Dignity" but tonight when I open the mysoju site I was surprise that most watched drama this week the no. 1 "Big" followed by "I do, I do" and the 3rd place is "LIE TO ME", Congratulations to all the YEH warriors for making LTM in the top 3 this drama released last year but still continue to climb at the top of the ladder of the watched dramas. I am so happy!

Late warrior here, I'm just started to watch LTM now, straight away after finished the "The Fair Lady".

Hmmm.....my point of view only, there is significant difference between LTM and "The Fair Lady", the plot problem and the lead male actor.

They fell in love too fast, already happened in the first few episodes, the climax is too fast. Frankly speaking I don't know why suddenly the Kang Ji Hwan as Hyun Ki Joon wanted to kiss YEH eonni, the plot didn't clearly expressed his love on YEH eonni, he always ignore her at the beginning, why he love her? Suddenly interested to kiss her.

I'm not sure, from my heart, I can't feel the great "chemical reaction" between them, not so real, maybe KJH didn't potray well with the deep love feeling, just my guess.

I like Yoon Sang-hyeon as Seo Dong-chan in "The Fair Lady", I can feel that he loved her deeply, and willing to sacrify anything including himself.

problem is not on the stars really it's the plot that MUST be improved. if not for YEH it could have been worse.

viewers want something new..

all!!! do not be sad because the ratings are not "good" (seriously i have no idea how the heck they came up with those numbers at all). All I know is that i enjoyed watching all her drama! YEH is just too cheeky and cute! And it made me laughing all the time ! It made me really happy =D. Screw the rating! as long as you enjoyed the show, its good enough!

me too....i even can't fathom about the rating of LTM...it's absurd!!!....well fairly it's a typical romcom of a rich guy meets poor girl,but gong ah jung can't be compared as a poor girl coz she's a public servant,she's well educated(well,she mess up sometimes <img src="http://yooneunhye.net/forums/my-plugins/bb-smilies/yehnet/icon_razz.gif" alt="=P" class="bb_smilies" /> )and having a very good family background to have a law professor as a father. The character of YEH...i love it so much,so daddy's girl....and honest to what she feels to someone she love that makes the irony of lying about being married.It's a good twist to the character....
I wish this drama will earn lots of recognition both local and international!!!
Yoon Eun Hye's charm had always amazing,and captivates the heart of her fan.....

the chemistry is damn great and I fully support the pairing but blame the story writer..cant denied story side is a little weak. Good story + strong chemistry + great OST = series of the year

and this is the only reason they watch LTM. However the story is too weak

I think SBS was expecting ratings in the mid 20's. They were hyping this drama and positioning it as a follow-up to Secret Garden so that tells you where their expectations were.

I'm sad that the ratings have been stuck at 10%. While I'm biased and I'd enjoy watching YEH meditate, I can understand why LTM isn't gathering a bigger audience. Sigh..

I hope YEH (or KJW) don't take it too hard on themselves because I feel there's nothing wrong with their performance. They have great chemistry which is even sadder because you see all that potential there.
