I noticed people talking about this at Soompi so I'd like to clear up something with the readers here, before it becomes accepted fact. I would post this at Soompi too but some people there tend to start useless arguments if there's the slightest disagreement about anything.

I still find it amazing that Yoon Eun Hye is the primary model for Basic House China instead of a Chinese celebrity. Basic House is a Korean company but they are selling these products in China. It really is a testament to Yoon Eun Hye's marketing power and popularity in China.
Several sites, including Allkpop, later posted paraphrased versions of my article and stated that YEH was chosen over a Chinese celebrity.

The difference in wording is subtle, but the interpretation can vary a lot. I was complimenting YEH, but I was definitely not saying she beat out a local celebrity for the job or somehow implying Koreans are better than Chinese. That is absolutely absurd. My reference to "Chinese celebrity" was hypothetical. I've edited the article to make that clear. As far as I know, Basic House simply uses the same model for Korea and China. I apologize if it's interpreted differently.
