Neri hosting lunch event for YEH and her movie crews

    Hi all you YEH warriors, Neri is hosting a lunch event for YEH and her movie crews. This being organized and paid for by fans and Neri is inviting international fan clubs/groups like us to donate and jointly sponsor the event. This is a chance for us international fans to support YEH and her movie in an officially recognized way!

    THANK YOU, DONATIONS NOW CLOSED!

    Any amount big or small is appreciated, I'll personally kick it off with $100 USD.

    Donation deadline is Jan 18, 2011.
    The event will likely be held sometime between January 23-29, so sorry for the short notice!

    For more details, this is from an email I received yesterday from a Neri manager:

    I would like to inform you that Neri will prepare "lunch buffet and cookie baskets" (aka 간식이벤트) for Eunhye and her movie crews in a few weeks.

    As you may have noticed, Neri staff put up the announcment for this event on theHouseCompany freeboard in Korean yesterday. So it is the official NERI event.

    If your club members (your website members???) want to contribute to the event, we would love to recieve your donation. Neri staffs are planning to host the event under the name 'NERI', but we will put your club name as well if you donate to the lunch event. (you may send us your club's official stickers or banner to me)

    It will be YEH clubs alliance event. Eunhye as well as Neri staffs know there are many YEH fanclubs existing all over the world, and Neri staffs would like to show Eunhye and her movie crews that so many Eunhye fans are waiting for her movie to be shown so badly.

    Also, Neri staff is planning to host the movie event. Neri staffs had a meeting with Eunhye and her managers in October and we were informed that Eunhye’s anual seoul fanmeeting (birthday party) had been canceled due to the movie shooting.
    So…Eunhye decided to see the movie, ’my black minidress’ with the fans who wish to see it with her in a nice theater alone..kkk

    Neri staffs will rent a theater for a day and host the event. We heard the movie will be released in the second week of March…so the event would be held in two-three weeks after the movie gets released.

    If you are not aware, Neri is YEH's official fan club.

    P.S. Sorry with the time constraints we can't accept payment in any other form. It must be PayPal or credit card.

    Donations Total: $520 USD from 9 donors
    After PayPal fees: $505.17
    After wire transfer to Korea: $475.17

    (PayPal fees are 2.9% (US) and 3.9% (International) + $0.30 per transaction. International wire transfer is $30.)

    Thank you thank you to all donors thus far (a lot of familiar people - you will not be forgotten, maybe we'll have some VIP member status, thinking of what perks there should be.)

    I'm inquiring to see if they want digital files or the physical banner/stickers. We'll see if we can come up with something. At the very least if we don't have it, they'll print YoonEunHye.net somewhere along with Neri. I think they'll put the stickers on the cookie baskets or something.

    Update:

    They said they won't really have any place to hang a banner at the lunch event but will use it at the movie event in March. We'll likely send one later at that time since we don't have time now.

    Yodya made a sticker but unfortunately the Neri manager did not respond to me for about a week to approve this sticker and now I don't know if we have enough time for Yodya to make them and send them before the event happens. I'm a little annoyed by this but whatever. We're supporting YEH and that's what really matters!

    I faxed the wire transfer request to my bank just now. Thank you to all donors!

    P.S. I'm keeping track of everyone who has donated for this and other donation drives in the past and definitely will come up with some type of VIP member status to reward them. I know it's nothing compared to donating your money but it's the thought right? =)

    Hmmm, I hope yodya doesn't mind.. She said it looks much better than the photo and I don't doubt her. I already think it's amazing and would've been awesome on those lunch boxes. To think she was going to make 200 of these (yes, they asked for 200)!

    There's even a fabric on it! How awesome is that? Damn it, get back to me on the stickers! :x

    Don't you think YEH would've loved something like this? She's into arts and crafts and has hand-made little trinkets and things to give out at her fan meetings in the past.

    Neri manager confirmed receipt of the funds (I'm surprised it was that fast!). She said the event is happening on the 30th. I think even if we sent the stickers today, it might not get there in time. :glare: Not really sure. Our sticker might be too big, she said they want small stickers because there's going to be a bunch of different ones.

    I've just got back from the post office.
    They said it'd take about 3-4 working days by EMS. (But I called the callcenter earlier and they said 2-3 days :wacko: ~ I guess we really need lucks. hehe)

    I sent them anyway, if the stickers aren't arrived in time, they can use them in the future events. ^^
    Btw, I had to resize it and the skirt thingy doesn't fit anymore so I remade with just a simple one. =P
