1. I want to know more about Yoon Eun Hye.
A: Eunhye was born on October 3rd, 1984, The Year of The Rat. Her family is Christian and strongly religious. She has 1 younger brother name Ban Seok/Bansuk.
Even though she is now a 25-year-old A-list star, Eunhye is still very close to her family. Her father opens a rice cake shop, her mother is a housewife.
Eunhye graduated from Kyunghee Cyber University in February 2007, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, specializing in tourism Management. She is one of a very few idols who manage to go to school and graduate with good score without a deferred year.
2. How did she get into the entertainment industry in the first place?
A: Yoon Eunhye officially debut to the entertainment line as the youngest and last to join the highly successful girl group Baby VOX. She debut at the age of 14/15 with the band’s third album – Come Come Come, Baby in 1999. Her audition with DR Music wasn’t that great, but just before she left the place, Eunhye punched the wall out of frustration (that she ruined her audition) the producer then was very impressed of how determine Eunhye was. Therefore, even though there are many who sing better or prettier than her, he decided to choose her. Eunhye stayed with ther group from 1999-2005. she has since moved on to acting career.
Before her debut as a singer, she was already a model for various magazines and CF. Eunhye was scouted on random street for her wide-eyed doll-like appearance.
3. What is her real age? Why Korean age always plus 1?
A: Eunhye was a 1984er. She is now 25 years old.
Also, there is a difference between Korean age and Western age. In Korea, once you are born, you are considered to be 1 year old. And even though Koreans celebrate their birthdays on the date of their birth, traditionally you don't actually turn a year older on your birthday, but rather everyone turns a year older on New Year's Day.
Therefore, since Eunhye’s birthday is on the nearly end of the year, we always hear people said she’s 2 years older than she actually is with the western count.
For example, in 2009, Eunhye was going to turn 25 in 3rd October (western), but we heard everyone said she’s 26 for the whole year despite the fact that she was only 24.
4. Does Yoon Eunhye really have health issue?
A: Yoon Eunhye is diagnosed with pernicious anemia which cause her to injured and bruised easily. Other than this serious one, Eunhye seems to have health problem with her leg and back caused by the stage accidents and her extreme practice during Baby VOX days.
5. Who is she currently dating right now?
A: Yoon Eunhye has never admitted of dating anybody. And we could only have guessed until the time she is ready to announce who is her boyfriend. She is rumored to be dating some certain celebrities such as Click-B Oh Jong Hyuk and Kim Jong Kook but it is all still rumors.
6. Has she ever undergone any plastic surgery?
A: Eunhye has never had anything done with her face. The changes mostly are from puberty as she debut since a very young age and she also lose some weight. You may see in some pics that she looks a lot different but in some, she look exactly the same. However, if you look at the transformation from step to step, you will see she is all natural. Many suspect about her eyes and nose, her eyes is one of her comeliness. They are always that big. And her nose has always been sharp. You can search her parents and her brother’s photos, she got the looks from her parents and her brother look very much like her.
If you’re still suspicious, well that’s up on you. Same as the earlier question, only if she admits it. But Eunhye even said once that she has never done it.
And even if she really did something to her face, it’s really not that big a deal. Many people, not just Korean and their celebrities, did it anyway. Yoon Eunhye is famous for her professionalism and her persona, not with plastic beauty.
7. What is her current agency?
A: Her current agency is The House Company which she is the co-founder. As for the moment, Yoon Eunhye is The House’s only talent.
Before that, Eunhye stayed with DR Music till 2005, when she decided to depart from Baby VOX to pursue solo career. She was the free agent for almost a year until 8peak took her in and gave her the project Goong. But after the incident with 8peak, Eunhye stayed with The Kraze for about a year.
