   Everyone always ignores Vineyard Man. It's my 2nd favorite YEH drama behind Coffee Prince. Yes, I like it over Goong. VM does start out a bit slow but it picks up quickly.

   Agreed...

   The Vineyard Man was a success in Korea...
   Had some maniac fans for the drama..
   It is the only drama that took viewers away from Jumong that year..
   It's a very good story and nicely made..

   Warriors? - There has been no telecast of "The Vineyard Man" in the Philippines. For those who have not seen yet - it is on mysoju.com. Although it is available in pirated version (in Manila), i will not encourage anyone to get it. And you know something? In the Philippines, we loose out quite a lot. In the recent telecast of Coffee Prince, some scenes were not shown, and since the drama was dubbed in Filipino, there are some dialogs that aren't translated as it should be. I lament the fact that, they did not make a proper research on the integrity of the drama. Miss Yoon Eun Hye did efforts to make her voice "sound like a man" but in the Phils dubbing Eun Chan's voice was a nasal shrill (i apologize to anyone i may offend - just telling the truth here). Officially, I earned a golden chair in heaven for not complaining about it in the first place. We can only hope when My Fair Lady will have its telecast in the Phils - the station will do a better job. Oh but i have to say this, nasal shrill and all - Miss Yoon Eun Hye still gained a lot of followers - hahaha! - the voice did not tarnish the YEH effect!

   Most do not realise that Vineyard Man took 4 awards, 3 of them for YEH. Possibly more than any of her other dramas. You are right CDBloom, VM was aired right in the middle of MBC's Jumong and yet still took some 15% viewership. It is my favorite. Funny, meaningful and touching with lots of memorable scenes.

   An advise for fans of Korean dramas, always best to watch the original in Korean with English or other subtitles. You can hear the original voices and expression which may be lost through dubbing. After sometime, believe me, you will start to understand enough of the Koreans to understand the story without even looking at the subtitles.

   My thoughts exactly Unnie. U crack me up with the "nasal shrill" . . Lolz. That was exactly what Eun Chan's voice sounds like when Im watching CP likely two and half years ago in local tv channel. Gma just dont have the luck to get a good dubbed in their kdramas (I'm sorry). Its just kinda sucking to hear it in Tagalog dubbed. Its not just EC but also Han kyul's voice which sounds irritating. To the point that I want to mute the volume and watch it with no sounds at all. .Hahaha
   . . (I'll always love the original although I dont understand much in korean lang. I still manage to cope with it). Isn't korean language sounds so cute?? Kekekeke
   I think in CP 2nd airing (last April 2008), they didn't cut many scenes. But when they aired it for the 3rd time on Qtv recently, they have cut alot of scenes. Especially my favorite HK's imaginary scene and the last scene in ep16. .
   Oh well, although GMA failed to make a good job in dubbing CP, I'm pretty sure ABS will do. ABS was better in dubbing kdramas.
   So MFL will surely be dubbed better in Tagalog.
   Regards with VYM, honestly, i do love it more than MFL. Although abit slow, there are still those YEH scenes that was very enjoyable to watch. Its just that I dont see much chemistry with the leading man and YEH, and that thing didnt give me the courage to watch it over and over again. Unlike in CP which I manage to watched for the nth time and still feels excited with every sweet scenes as if im watching it for the 1st time. . Kekekek

    I miss my best teacher since 2 years ago to now ...I didn't saw him for 2 years .and I miss YEH's dramas as a new drama, I saw her old dramas for many times repeatedly,I want to see a new one from her...

    1.my 1st fave was goong...a newbie yet can act like a pro!
    2.then i watched the vineyard man...i love this drama...
    somehow, this drama is deep...every thing, the nature, the drama itself is something that you will not forget.
    (a LOVE for nature and a LOVE that makes you realize that each of us are equal when it comes to LOVE,
    rich or poor...a farmer or not)
    wow, she's good...love the scene where she's crying while talking to a boy,
    "that you have to take of this..." something like that...
    i'm really impressed!
    3. then here comes coffee prince...cross-dresses Go Eun Chan!!!
    how...her acting skills, is way better!
    i think i've watched this drama for about 10x!
    4. my fair lady...
    this is somehow different from her characters before...
    but, still, i like this drama too!
    a true fashionista and i love her when she bully ysh....

    in short, I LOVE ALL 4 KDRAMAS OF YOON EUN HYE!!!

    now,I trully miss Eun Hye..from Goong to LTM.. feel so empty.. hoping that YEH will be back to drama soon just like she did after Goong to Vineyard Man..hoping that It won't take too long just like CP to MFL because we will surely be MISSING her so MUCH!!!
