Filipino Warriors, What can you say about the Pilot episode of My Fair Lady Filipino Dubbed?
I have positive and negative reactions:
Positive:
1. Dubbing
2. I like the sound of the voice they used to everyone except for Miss YEH.
Negative:
1. I hate the sound of the voice they used for Agassi Kang Hye Na.
2. Airing Time, 4:30PM, Survey says that during this time 69% of the population in the Philippines were outside or prefer to stay outside.
3. The fact that we waited 2 years before they air this, is a big No No for me.

I am just happy it is finally in our local TV accessed by our fellow Filipinos.
What amuses me though is why on earth no proper research was done on this Phil Version. I can not understand why have they not chosen a more appropriate voice for her. Have they not heard or been at least educated that the character's voice is originally CONDESCENDING !!!!!
Miss Yoon Eun Hye used a lot of effort on that voice tone! A voice of authority and patronizing is never a high pitched shriek, it is low, firm and just that CONDESCENDING! The voice tone used by Miss YEH is part of the character and solidified it as real rich bratty kid!

Hahahaha! I am totally so _ _ _ _ here!!!! I overheard a promotion clip (i don;t know what it is called) of MFL. The voice over described Miss YEH's character as "MALDITA"
I wonder if they watched the drama prior to these promotional thing they are doing. Any Spanish speaking national/otherwise will be incensed as I am. MFL character is not MALDITA at all. It does not mean naughty! Not at all, so my Kapwa Filipino please don't call your naughty boys and girls as MALDITO/MALDITA. Not only is it politically incorrect it speaks of the very lowest gutter character - even worst than a whore - its evil- its not even funny! You don;t want to call a child evil - do you?
Why am I taking this too much to heart?

Oh I will watch MFL - mute! and just totally go happy with How Miss YEH looks and enjoy her facial expressions!

Haven't watched a single episode of MFL Filipino-dubbed but already finished the English-subbed series. I prefer watching foreign-language films/series in their original languages.

one of my classmates at school who's also a Kdrama addict said she watched the tagalog dubbed MFL
and said that it was good. My first reaction was I laughed at her because she could have it watched with
english subs like when she watched LTM. Plus, I said that I don't like how they dubbed YEH's voice and the cuts they made.
But deep inside I was really happy that she liked it.
I'm happy if someone appreciates YEH and her work/drama.
I love watching My Fair Lady in ABS. 4:30pm time slot is fine. Never missed an episode! Eventhough I watched it 6times already hahaha. Still lovin'it!
