COFFEE PRINCE 1st Shop is like no other, and no matter how many remakes and sequels there may be if it's not Yoon Eun Hye & Gong Yoo to star in them - all these will fail and definitely pale in comparison with the original.YOu will just be wasting time, effort and money because Gong Yoo & Eun Hye own it and no one else! Only both of them could give justice to the roles and could make it again a blockbuster hit.Paging the producers and director of this drama!... a sequel or a movie definitely belong to GY & YEH!

I so agree with Elgy. YEH and GY owns coffee prince. It will defiantly be a mistake and a disaster to have a movie or a sequel with out them in it. I rather they not make the movie if there not in it. But I don't think the corporate world of movie making really cares tho because from what I have read the movie will be made with or with out YEH and GY. The cast is to be selected by August, filmed in October and Release by February.

I guess for all of us. Nothing can replace The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince. This drama is one of the best and of course, the cast are amazing especially our main leads Gong Yoo and Yoon Eun Hye
But let's not get too offended if there's any companies want to try making a movie version or a sequel to it with or without our beloved cast. Coffee Prince is based on the popular novel of the same name. And it became even more popular after the heart-throbbing drama. So don't think of it as disaster, think of it as a compliment

I guess your right. It's like Hana Yori Dango being made 4 time (Anime, Jdrama, Kdrama and Movie). I just hope the new CP is just as good as the first.

Yup you guys, I also want a sequel but I want to have Yoon and Goon Yoo and the original cast in it except lee eon who is dead which is a shame seriously. We should try and brainstorm some ideas. Already I heard that MBC is interested into filming a sequel for Coffee Prince but Goon Yoo might not be in it because of his military service. But you guys know what, we can wait for him to finish then the producers can come up with a great story line and yoon and goon yoo can act again in their characters, Go eun chan and han kyul. Also what happened in the last episode was too fast. Eun chan just came back like that. We don't know about her becoming a great barista, if she is marrying, if han's kyul's cousin and his wife have a baby. Also I would like to have Eun Chan still being in overseas studying. We can have a story on how she studied to be a great barista and how she arrived to see her love without telling him. Also maybe Eun chan can become the boss of the 2nd shop and also their love can continue with maybe eun chan having a baby. Also Eun chan's family. What about her sister and min yeop and her mom with the other 2 guys. It has been 5 years since Coffee prince was made, don't you guys think Yoon and Goon yoo should comeback for a sequel of Coffee Prince, i think we waited long enough. Reply to me, brainstorm ideas for a possible storyline for the sequel of Coffee prince, the only thing i wish is that the producers don't waste their time when doing the sequel if it is possible to make. I just want all the original cast to be in it or it will definitely suck!!!!
