Q. 그동안 했던 연예인 화보촬영 중에 가장 기억에 남는 작업은 어떤 것이었는지 공개해 줄 수 있나.
마지막으로 나와 작업한 박용하의 사진집이다.
아프리카에 같이 갔을 때 찍은 사진도 있는데 용하와 함께 전시하려고 했다가 아직 빛을 못 보고 있다. 곧 전시할 예정이다.
용하 덕분에 친해진 소지섭과의 작업도 좋아한다. 이 친구와 촬영을 하면 확실히 내 앞에서 더 다양한 모습을 보여주는 게 느껴진다.
여배우로는 윤은혜를 꼽고 싶다. 은혜는 내가 사진 때문에 많이 힘들었을 때 돌파구가 되어준 친구이다.
은혜와의 첫 촬영은 발리에서 진행되었는데 배우이다 보니 시안보다 콘티가 낫겠다 싶었다.
그때 정말 열심히 준비해가서 은혜에게 이러이러한 감정선으로 연기를 해줬으면 좋겠다고 포즈가 아닌 연기를 요구를 했다.
촬영을 했는데 느낌이 매우 좋았다. 그때부터 탄력을 받아서 사진을 많이 찍을 수 있었던 것 같다.
은혜한테 고마운 게 아주 많다. 이 기회를 빌려 그 마음을 전하고 싶다.
Q. Can you tell us which project remains with your memory from all of the photoshoots you've done with entertainers.
It's the photo collection of Park Yong Ha, who worked his last project with me.
I also have photos from our trip to Africa together and we wanted to hold an exhibition but it's still unable to see the light. I plan to exhibit it soon.
I also enjoy working with So Ji Sub, who I became close with thanks to Yong Ha. When I work with him, I definitely can feel all of the diverse images that he shows in front of me.
As far as an actress, I want to point out Yoon Eun Hye. She's someone who's offered me a breakthrough route when I faced many difficulties with my photographing career. My first work with Eun Hye took place in Bali, and because she's an actress, I thought it would be better to capture her as if from a scene of a script rather than having image pose shots. I prepared hard and asked Eun Hye to act out scenes with various emotions rather than asking her to pose. As we shot the scenes, it felt really great. I think that was the point went I began to perform well and was able to take many pictures. There are many things that I'm grateful to Eun Hye for, and I'd like to take this opportunity to relay this feeling to her.
