Star Style Magazine, High Cut has asked 100 Beauty and Fashion industry professionals to pick its beauty and fashion icons. Beginning August 3rd, many powerful professionals in the beauty and fashion industries, such as marketing directors, photographers, stylists, and fashion editors were asked to rank the stars in various categories.
Unfortunately, Yoon Eun Hye didn't make the top 3 in the "Korea's Top Fashionista" category this year.
But she has won in the past, and the magazine found it necessary to add her in an honorable mention, "Yoon Eun Hye's exceptional photo shoots and fashionista images are still in its place (still valid)."
But obviously, I wouldn't be posting this here unless Yoon Eun Hye came in first in an important category, right? She won the category for the "Stars With the Best Modeling Pose"
Here are some comments by the voters.
"Not sure if she's just that good or she's just working hard at it, but her passionate efforts are the best"
"A true model, never turns away from doing difficult poses."
"Her confidence in front of the camera is, in it itself, a pose."
Now, you may be curious to see some of the other results, but they are non Yoon Eun Hye related, and to keep this short I'll only mention a few more. It's okay to be some what biased here, right?
This research wasn't just about the positive rankings and reviews, and you may be glad that Yoon Eun Hye didn't make any of the negative rankings list.
In the rankings of the "Stars Who Desperately Need To Change Their Styles", Kim Tae Hee, Son Dam Bi, and Shin Se Kyung took first, second, and third place respectively.
There were also some surprising results in the category of "Stars Who Look Better In Photos Than In Person."
C.N. Blue's Jung Yong Ha took the top honors, followed by BoA and whole bunch of third place winners.
I saw Jung Yong Ha in You're Beautiful, and I actually thought he was the best looking guy in the drama.
Here are some comments released on this category.
On Jung Yong Ha:
"Everyone around him knows this already, and even he admits it."
"They say that for most people, their small face comes out larger in a photo. But I never knew that a big face could come out smaller as well."
"He's average in real life, but he's special in a photo."
On BoA:
"She's not perfectly pretty, but she has lively expressions so she comes pretty good in pictures."
"It's natural that BoA looks good in pictures as she looks good under makeups and lights."
"She's photogenic because she knows her complex (short comings) and covers them well."
I was surprised to find, Son Ye Jin, Lee Byung Hun, Kim Ah Joong, Jang Dong Geun, and Jang Hyuk on the 3rd place list. But Jang Hyuk is understandable, because photos hide his height. The comments on the rest can be painful for some fans to hear.
Very strange. I would run into Son Ye Jin at my old health club several times, and I thought she was very, very pretty, as pictures and TV cameras didn't do justice for her. Perhaps these professionals who voted are just too used to being around hot people all the time.

...she deserves that recognition..personally,,i so much like her because of her skill/talent of dressing up..i like her fashion...she's very versatile..she may not be on top 3 this year as "Korea's top fashionista"..but she has proven it in the past anyway...and thank you to those professionals for recognizing her until now..
