   With A Day Left On The 20's Choice Awards, Winners Are Shaping Up. Heavy Voting By The International Fans.

   The only public awards ceremony of the summer, ‘엠넷 20's Choice(Mnet 20's Choice/aka 20's Choice)’ is a day ahead.

   20's Choice is expected to offer diverse form of entertainment with a splendid event and ultra competitive awards ceremony. In particular, the fans of the general public are curious to see who will win the awards in each of the 20 categories.

   

   The categories of this year's 20's Choice are "Hot Drama Star", "Hot Movie Star", "Hot Trendy Musician", "Hot Performance Star", "Hot New Star", "Hot Style Icon", "Hot Hallyu Star", and etc., 20 categories in total. Such categories as "Top Comedian", "Hot S Line", "Hot Campus Goddess" are waiting for Netizen votes.

   What's grabbing the attention of the fans is the "Hot Drama Male Star" category. In this category, Cha Seung Won, who created the "Dok Go Jin" syndrome with 'Best Love' is dominating the internet votes with 45%(177,270 votes). He was able to easily pass by his junior colleagues such as Lee Min Ho (30%), Kim Soo Hyun(14%), Kim Jae Won(5%), Yoon Kye Sang (3%), and etc.

   Cha Seung Won is also in 1st place for the "Top Six Packs" with 162,702 votes and 42% of votes. 2PM Teachyun, Bi (Rain), Won Bin, Jang Hyuk are in 2n~5th place respectively.

   In the internet voting of "Hot Drama Female Star", Yoon Eun Hye of 'Lie To Me' is in 1st place. With 507,243 votes and 52% of votes, Yoon Eun Hye is also showcasing her dominance.

   The 2nd place is Gong Hyo Jin of 'Best Love' with 352,667 votes and 37% of votes.

   Gong Hyo Jin is also doing well in "Hot Style Icon" category. She is currently in 2nd place, behind Big Bang's G-Dragon (349,984 votes, 46%) in a close margin. With 322667 votes and 42%, it seems possible that she may overtake the lead at the end.

   Kang So Ra of 'Sunny', which was the most successful film for the 2nd half of 2011, is leading the "Hot Movie Star" category. She is in 1st place with 106,192 votes and 40% of votes.

   Lee Hyo Ri and Lee Seung Chul are in close competition for the "Superstar K Hot Mentor" catogory. Both have received 46% of the votes. Lee Hyo Ri currently has 378,456 votes and 1,400 votes lead over Lee Seung Chul's 377,033 votes.

   2PM's performance is also noticeable. They are in 1st place in 3 categories, "Hot CF Star", "Hot Ballance Star", and "Hot Hallyu Star", and are in 2nd place behind DBSK in "Hot Performance Star" category.

   

   UV, a hip hop group created by Yoo Se Yoon, is in 1st place of "Hot 20's Vocie".

   In addition, "Top D-cup Hot Body" category is led by G.Na and Seo Hyun of SNSD is in 1st place for "Hot Campus Goddess" category. Suzy of Miss A, who will be the MC for this event, is in 1st place as the "Hot New Star".

   Meanwhile, the online voting contest has received hot response from not only domestic fans, but also many international Hallyu fans. There's continuous voting by the international fans.

   The production behind the event explained, "We have utilized such outlets as the Facebook and etc. to introduce the event to the fans of U.S., Singapore, Latin America, Northern Europe, and etc. We think the international fans are logging in to vote for their favorite stars."

   The stars who are receiving most attention of the international fans are such as F(X), Kara, CN Blue and Park Shin Hye of 'You're Beautiful' which created a Hallyu boom.

   With such interest from the international fans, F(x) was able to overcome Big Bang and be in 1st place with 48% of the votes.

    Hi guys.. are we at comfortable margin now??? From what I see, the No. 2 vote is coming up steadily everytime I refreshed my page. Its not like few days ago where the jump was at thousands but we do not know what they can pull at last minute, right? So keep on voting till the last minute..

    Who will be chosen as the hottest stars of 2011?

    The awards are broken down into 20 categories and the winner for each category will be formulated from a survey of people in their 20s (50%), a professional judge panel (20%), and online polls (30%).

    The winners are yet to be chosen, but by looking at the current results from online polls, fans can estimate who the honorable winners may be; however since the online polls only weighs 30% of the whole process, there’s a good probability the ultimate result could be different.
