The writer of the TV program about the reverend has provided her banking information. However she did not provide an address so we're waiting for that.
We keep getting hung up on an address, seems like people just don't want to provide it. Maybe for privacy reasons so its understandable. This is why donating to an individual instead of an organization is difficult. We'll keep trying. Sorry for the delay.

Ok so the writer of TV program about the reverend provided her bank information but didn't provide an address. CDBloom has been trying to get her address but I believe the situation is that she is not really responding.
This is pretty understandable as private individuals do not want to just give out their address. Personally, I'm running out of patience and we just can't keep delaying this indefinitely hoping to make progress.
If we do not hear back by the end of this week (10/31) we will donate to CCK. This deadline absolutely will not move. No more delays.
At the moment it looks very likely we'll be donating to CCK.
In future projects we will not try to donate to an individual again.

Sorry for the repeated posting but I want people to see the timing of these updates.
We have managed to get full banking information for the reverend and I'll be initiating a wire transfer tomorrow!
I want to note cdbloom has been the sole person in Korea following up on this. He's been the person emailing and calling people up. And he ended up tracking down the reverend's daughter and getting the needed information. Much props to him.

The wire has been sent off. When cdbloom gets confirmation on their end that they got it, I guess we'll do a write up on dceune and/or send message to YEH or something.

The money left my bank account a while ago - $1,120 in total plus $30 wire transfer fee. So now we're just waiting to get confirmation.
The wire was made to the reverend's daughter, Park So Ra. She was in touch with CDBloom last week and indicated to CDBloom that the reverend may be in his last days. So she was understandably busy and preoccupied with various things.
At that time (last week) she had not yet received the money but hopefully we'll hear from her soon to confirm receipt of the donation.

Hello all, it's been a long process, and we can finally bring this year's project to a close.
We've received final confirmation from the reverend's daughter, Park So Ra, that our donation was received.
The sad news is that after battling with his disease, the good reverend Park Jae Chung passed away. Our donation helped pay for the family's final expenses and arrangements for his passing. His family and friends at the funeral are aware that Yoon Eun Hye fans made a donation to the family.
Park So Ra and her family deeply appreciate our donation and wishes everyone is healthy and well.
This was her message from a little while back:
We are very touched and we don't know how to thank you. It must have been difficult to seek out our information for such a long time. We really thank you for your hearts, in not giving up and trying to help till the end. If you were nearby, we'd thank each one of you personally, but we will instead pray for you from far away. We will also pray that there will be an opportunity in the future, in which we can repay you for your grace.

I'm glad that we can help reverend Park's family... even just for a little and also sorry to hear about his passing.
Thank you all the donors and special thanks to you two, Fresh oppa & CDbloom oppa for all the troubles from finding information to sending the money across the world.
Nice to see our project finally came to an end, although it took too long than we expect, at least we did really do something good just as we set our goal in the first place

And this year's Birthday drive was done to help an individual who was in a difficult situation..
Although we won't be mentioned in articles for helping out an individual, it's nice to know that we do make difference..In today's article regarding the "giving culture of the entertainment industry and it's frozen charity work", the article talks about how only few entertainers get involved in charity work. And as entertainers' charity work sets examples for fans and others to follow, stars need to get more involved in giving.

A representative of a charity foundation told TV edaily via telephone, "Although it is true that charity giving by specific entertainers produce positive impact on the society, I don't think their giving culture spreads across the entertainment industry as a whole."
He added, "Entertainment industry is not a place where charity culture is thriving..But if a famous person's charity news spreads, it still gives off a good effect." So, what is this good effect that the representative spoke of?
According to the representative, famous entertainer's charity work effects the fans. For example, 2PM's fans have donated about $20000 to help Haiti recover from earthquakes, and a Yoon Eun Hye fan club recently donated about $1000, asking it to be used to help someone who is going through hardships.
As such, entertainer's charity work produces positive effects from the fans. But entertainer's charity work does not lead to other entertainer's charity work. In regards to this matter, the representative stated, "It's a shame that certain entertainers' good deeds don't spread to other entertainers within the industry."...
Excluding few entertainers, charity culture of stars is more than lacking, it is simply at a sad level. It is important that the more stars set examples and unfreeze the charity culture with their warm charity work.]
