   HELLO ALL! Just wanted to PROUDLY announce AND SATIATE OUR LOOOOONG WAITS FOR YOON EUN HYE TO RETURN ON THE SMALL SCREEN. I LIKE TYPING IN CAPS BECAUSE IT JUST MAKES EVERYTHING SEEM SO OFFICIAL!(:

   Our girl is currently in consideration of a new drama of 20 episodes, dubbed "Cinderella"
   New Drama for Kim HyunJoong, Nichkhun and Jung YongHwa?

   Kim HyunJoong, 2PM’s Nichkhun and CNBlue’s Jung YongHwa are Korean TV’s current TV darlings, raking in ratings for their respective shows Mischievous Kiss and We Got Married. As soon as now though, they seem to be looking forward to a new drama gig.

   The singers are short-listed to be cast in a new Korea-Japan collaboration drama to be led by production company M-Media. A conference was recently reported to have been held in Hamamatsu, Japan to talk this through.

   Dubbed Cinderella, the drama is slated to run for a total of 20 episodes. The script is unfinished as of now, with the production roster still incomplete. Shooting is expected to begin in Japan next spring, with the broadcast due in Korean and Japanese TV by May next year.

   Your favorite Hallyu female stars are also short-listed to cast, namely Song HyeKyo, Kim AhJoong, and Yoon Eunhye

   Kay I know what you are thinking--Yoon Eun Hye POSSIBLY with a drama with all idols and less-experienced actors? I Know... but I think its a change for working with older adults. It could also possibly be a chance to see how much of a chameleon she is!(: In the past, working with men such as Yoon Sang Hyun and Gong Yoo, will be changed for YEH now. I thinks he is trying to show that she is still capable of showcasing many different sides of her(:

   It looks like a great opportunity, at the same time, a risky one...

   For one, if she's to work with idols who has never led a drama before, this would put lots of pressure on her..
   Simply, she'd have to carry the adult audience in both countries. In Japan, it may not be a big problem, and her popularity in Japan will help her. Most importantly, idol dramas work in Japan. And succeeding in a joint project with Japan would be huge, as it will also open up many future opportunities for her later. Idol dramas are well received in other international fan bases as well, so it can definitely work..

   As for Korea, the idols are extremely popular, even having some fans in their late 20's..
   But once again, it would be up to her to carry the general public, who do not follow idol K-pop (most over 30's don't)..
   If she succeeds, it'll be great but it can end up like "You're Beautiful", in which it had huge popularity amongst middle and high school students, but failed to gain older audience. It's just that Korea TV viewers are overly geared towards mature, complex dramas rather than idol dramas. "Goong/PH" and "Boys Before Flowers" were rare exceptions. Idol dramas fail most of the time in Korea with the general audience, so this would be risky.

   But why not? She has time before Love Song, and having too much time off isn't a good thing..

   A popularity ranking for Hallyu stars in a Japanese Hallyu site...

   I agree it is very idol based. But of course, anything that yoon eun hye does would make me happy since i trust her decisions and acting!! And I'm sure all of us miss her so much. I read some other articles on this before. I thought that it was pretty much decided that song hye kyo would be the lead. If not and eun hye decides to do it, that'd be great too. I'm just concerned with the fact that the story is about a money loving 30 year old woman and a rich heir. I'm concerned with her playing a 30 year old woman. Although she is 26 (actually 25 in america), I worry that the script will make her have an image of a much older woman which could make it hard for her to transition back for other dramas. And the male actors wouldn't even be that much younger than her. Sorry if im confusing, just thinking. Anyways, Im just excited to hear of another possible opportunity for her. I can't wait for next project. A movie and two dramas, how exciting would that be.

   One should note YEH's name is in the running, but it doesn't necessarily mean YEH is interested or she'll get casted.

   This is very, very speculative at the moment, so don't start getting too excited yet.

   I don't know where this production would fit with the movie and Love Song. Actually nothing official has been announced for either of those projects.

   Yes, I'm Debbie Downer.

   Personally though, I don't think this would be a good project for YEH. It might be popular but I'd like to see YEH working with real actors.

   Oh no it's okay. I agree. I don't want to get too excited until anythings confirmed. Im honestly doubtful that she will take part in this. We can't get excited every time since our yoon eun hye is always sought after and receiving offers.

   Woah. She's number 3!! yeah!! and she is number 1 for female stars!! I was actually shocked. I always just figured that bae yong joon and park yong ha were number in japan. i guess times are changing a little.

   i think it will be a hit, though the castings are may i say novice? but then YEH as i watched her acting... this will bring her to another pedestal! how i wish i could watch it at the same time of broadcasting it in korea but then, i'll wait for it whether it will be broadcast here in the Philippines!

   I think Song Hye Kyo is a great rival..
   Probably the chance for both YEH & SHK is 50-50. I wish YEH choose the projects whìch she really interested.. It doesn't really matter if YEH doesn't have been choosed, coz she will go for movie and Love Song otherwise it's been a long time not to see Song Hye Kyo in small screen.. It will be okay for me if she will be choosed..

   I would not recommend this project to her ... <_< I do agree to that i want to see how chameleon she is, but that's not really just her... we have to look at other that taking part in that project as well. Cuz they are idol as TV darling doesn't mean they will act well. and ofcuz there are scripts, storyline and so on...
   I do want her to be with a younger actor, but I'd not want an idol to be paired with her... somewhat like a risk

   Hope she'll stick with "Love Song" and the other movie that she'll take part in

   Unless other well-established Japanese actors are cast AND/OR the plot/script is just too fantastic to let go, I'd highly prefer if she has nothing to do with this drama ^^;

   (Sorry for their fans in advance) Let's be honest here, KHJ can't act, neither Khun nor JYH are actor... If YEH cast in this, all the burden would once again fall on her shoulder and she has to carry the drama AGAIN.

   I actually don't quite get the idea of production team. If they want an idol drama, why don't cast another idol girl to be female lead? (Oh wait! Those girls can't really act as well) If they wanna make a Hallyu drama, why don't cast a famous actor to be male lead? It's pretty much like caught up in the middle with an idol male lead and A-list female lead

   You know that if YEH decides to do this, I'd trust her and support her 110%. But as much as I want to see her on screen again, I'd rather wait and see her development as a "chameleon" actress, not just another comedy character like those from idol-packed dramas...

   Sorry for my rant -_-;

    I agreed with you Viola501, I like to see YEH with Kimura Takuya acting together...not KHJ,Nick,JYH..and I really don't understand why they pick these idols out of other Hallyu star...I want YEH with A lister for a chance in any movie or drama...Why other actresses like SHG, KTH, LDH...etc. so lucky act along with good and handsome actors and not our YEH???

    a list and hallyu and idol. ONE thing as i know regards production. as long make $$$$$$$$ its good enough for them. hehheheee i object if yeh with the idol cast, but if YEH follow. i follow YEH. YEH forever

    to be honest, i dont want her to take part in this drama but if it is her decision, ill support and walk with her all the way...

    im pretty sure if she decides to be in this drama, she will get a lot of pressure...

    btw, she is so amazing, she is in 3rd place in popularity along with all male star...she is the only female, what an amazing actress...she is still so popular even she didnt make alot of drama, good work eun hye
