[My first post
] I was turned on to Korean dramas only recently. My wife has always been a fan since the days of Winter Sonata and Autumn in My Heart. She is also a fan of Gong Yoo (and the recently concluded Big). After some research she found Coffee Prince, and we ‘discovered’ Yoon Eun Hye.You see, the very first Korean drama we watched together was Playful Kiss (with Jung So Min and Kim Hyun Joong). After watching Goong we had a eureka moment! So this is where the template for Playful Kiss came from (complete with the teddy bears at the end of each episode).
What would a 40+ year old man be doing watching Korean dramas? Well, through YEH’s dramas my wife and I have grown closer and more loving (not that we were not loving before). We now fall asleep holding hands!
We laughed, cried, anguished and rejoiced together watching Lie To Me (which I think epitomizes YEH at her very best). When she laughs it’s like sunshine, and when she cries it really wrenches your guts. Her ability to convey the essence of someone in love is like no other.
So to our dear YEH I’d like to say: dance like no one is watching; sing like no one is listening; love like you'll never be hurt; and live like it's heaven on earth!

they even had it placed on late night slot just to make people wait and watch there shows before it. 
i guess every YEH drama is a big hit here in the Philippines, regardless of the network who airs it..Filipinos definitely love YEH eonni's projects! -

YEH power is really amazing, Lie to Me is in first place in the ongoing votation for Best Asianovelas launch by GMA here in the Philippines, I'm just wondering why can't SBS have ERIC and YEH team-up in a drama. I believe they made good audience acceptance during XMAN episodes when they were both guests, and besides I believe that many fans had been anticipating their team-up since before and until now. . .Hope SBS can give it a try. . .

I am still addicted with LTM. I've watch 2-3 episodes before I went to bed. In this crazy world when all we need is a feel-good drama, and LTM is one of the bests. I believe this is what they called "HYE effect". I'm still dying to buy the orig. DVD. I've already visited four Music and Video Stores (MOA and SM City) but to my dismay LTM is not available. Anyways, thanks to GMA for showcasing Hye's dramas in the PHils.

I am from Sri Lanka and i watched Coffee Prince couple of weeks ago. I was amazed on how talented she is like and i was speechless. I watched it again cos i was loved it soo much.
I think Lie to me is awesome too. I watched it as well and i was laughing so much that i got scolded by my mother..haha. There was some moments where i really felt the situation and was like felt like omg .. is this real? CHINCHA????/ Well i wish her best of luck as well and wonder whether she will come to Sri Lanka

i missed this drama so much, i watched it a couple weeks ago...all of unni drama have amazing ost, but by far this one wins *goong is right after...when i was listening to midnight passes the other day and ran into a anki couple tumblr today, it brought me happy memories^^ oh how i miss anki couple

Yoon Eun Hye fans from DCLTM (Lie To Me) held a supporting event for YEH's current drama "Missing You" on December 24th.^^ The event was held under the name of "DCLTM (Lie To Me) Supporting Event For Missing You"
Food, drinks, cakes, candies, cookies, fruits, winter warmers and etc. were prepared for the "Missing You" team.
DCLTM also prepared Christmas gifts for Yoon Eun Hye, Park Yoo Chun, Yoo Seung Ho, the director, writer, staff members, and other senior actors^^
It's amazing that a drama forum of a drama that ended so long ago can come up with such event.
Hand made Christmas cards, cookies and etc. given to the entire staff members and actors show how carefully and personally these gifts were prepared.They even noticed from previous interviews that Yoo Chun can't drink coffee and Yoo Seung Ho loves tangerines (Keeps eating on filming set) and presented Yoo Chun with chocolates, hand made cards, and photos of his scenes from "Missing You" along with other gifts. They presented Yoo Seung Ho with tangerines, hand made cards, and photos taken of scenes from only Harry's scenes along with other gifts.
Note: The Christmas cake eaten after the filming of "Missing You" on December 24th was from DCLTM^^
They were able to say hello to Park Yoo Chun and Yoo Seung Ho and complimented both actors which made these two actors happy and smile~!!
DCLTMers were very happy when Yoon Eun Hye came over to say hello and spoke to them. Yoon Eun Hye seemed very touched (Hiding tears???^^) as she was looking at the personalized gifts and supporting items that the fans prepared!!

- Currently, in Japan, according to the results of a questionnaire that asked the people to vote for the best Korean drama that was aired, "Lie to Me" ranked first place. Last year, in March 2012, in its first terrestrial broadcast, "Lie to Me" steadily ranked first or second place in google research. The launching of the DVD in November of 2011, made "Lie to Me" as the second most rented DVD in Japan.
- In China's CCTV poll, "Lie to Me" was voted No.1 as the "Audience's Most Favorite" Korean Drama. Hallyu Sites like my soju.com made the weekly drama maintain its No.1 spot for more than a year in Korea, China, Japan & Taiwan.
- In a Hallyu Site visited by 17 million people, (Le Milleur Drama Coreende 2011) LES DMS AWARDS 2011 ranked "Lie to Me" as second best drama in 2011.
- It was also broadcasted in Romania at the TV sphere of Europe
- In the Philippines, a relevant independent article advertised the audience viewership rating of "Lie to Me" was close to 30%. The main OST iTunes went up to No.1
