Yoon Eun Hye Fan Clubs Donates 1 Ton of Rice To International Rescue Foundation
Actress Yoon Eun Hye's domestic and international fans have donated one ton of rice to a international rescue foundation.
A ton of rice sent by Yoon Eun Hye's fan clubs during the press conference of MBC drama "Missing You", has been donated to a international rescue foundation, "Korea Food For The Hungry International (KFHI)". The rice gift will feed hungry children who are parent-less.
Yoon Eun Hye had recently traveled to Madagascar (Africa) to film KBS 1TV "Road For Hope" in June. Since getting involved with KFHI, Yoon Eun Hye had been sponsoring children in Madagascar, and maintained interest in the areas of poverty abroad. This time she relayed her fans' love by donating the rice gift to Korean children who are parent-less and hungry. 500kg of rice was sent to parent-less families of KFHI and the remaining 500kg was sent to "Happy Home School (KFHI)" of local children's center.
KFHI stated "We were very worried about feeding the children this winter because of the rising heating cost. But the donation helped a lot. With the money saved from receiving rice, we will be able to support other needs of the children."
"Road For Hope", "Yoon Eun Hye In Madagascar" will air on the 17th at 5:30 pm.
