   Actor Kang Ji Hwan had been one of the actors who was rumored to be involved in 'Sweet Scandal' for past week or so.

   Scripts for episodes #1~#7 of 'Sweet Scandal' is also complete and is posted at the cafe as well.

   The official 'Sweet Scandal' cafe for its staff members just posted actor Kang Ji Hwan's photo with Yoon Eun Hye.

   If the rumors are true, we should have a confirmation early next week after the MBMD promotions end on 3/29.

   *Note: Dramawiki has Kang Ji Hwan listed for drama, 'Faith (2011)', but this is not a confirmed information.
   Kang Ji Hwan had dropped 'Faith', but was only rumored to have been reconsidering his decision as of 3/10.

   Still waiting for official confirmation from multiple media sources, nothing is confirmed until then.

   The title of the drama was 'Lie to Me'. It was then changed to 'Sweet Scandal', and now it's back to 'Lie to Me'.

   SBS made an announcement that 'Fly Again' has been postponed to December airing slot.

   Remember, if something gets confirmed...We'll post it on its own thread^^

   Korea internet portals have now uploaded info on 'Lie To Me' with Yoon Eun Hye, Kang Ji Hwan, and Jo Yoon Hee as its main characters. The drama is to begin airing on May 9th after 'Midus' ends.

   I'm so glad that she might be in a new drama Even though ''Love Song'' is a great project, with all the controversies and difficulty of finding a lead actor (they supposely found one, but I don't know if it's really true...), it looks like it'll be hard to push through with it. Anyways, the Hong sisters are usually known for writing ­­''trendy'' dramas. From their previous dramas like ''My Girl'', ''Delightful Girl Choon Hyang'' and the others that CDBloom mentioned above, they always write romcoms (romantic comedies). The good thing is that their dramas are often popular, funny, have good writing and ratings. We all know that Yoon Eun Hye is a delight to watch in a romcom (especially when the writing and directing is good), and I would be very happy if she collaborates with the Hong sisters, but I also hope that she'll take on a more serious drama like ''Love Song'' in the future too ^_^

   If the drama airs in May, she'll be pretty busy this year and us fans will be very lucky too

   Hi justine260~^^

   I completely forgot about "Delightful Girl Choon-Hyang". That was Hong sister's most successful drama, wasn't it? I didn't watch it but I've heard from several people that it was their best drama.

   Well, My Black Mini Dress is said to be a drama and a not a romantic comedy, so I'm good with a romantic comedy for the drama. As long it's a good story, it's fine with me. Personally, I always thought that romantic dramas are more difficult ones to act in. Because it's difficult to have charm, charisma, and be funny at the same time. There are many actors with good acting skills who just can't do a romantic comedy. But I guess for YEH, she should take an opportunity to show that she can excel in dramatic series, so I hope MBMD will do that for her.

   The thing is Hong sister projects didn't always have good rating (like "Your/he's Beautiful") but they're always popular. And if they cast YEH I'm sure they will have both (popularity & good rating)
   But after doing 4 romcom in a row, I think it's time for YEH to do another genre (to challenge her). Hopefully she choose a good one

   Yeah, it's interesting how You're Beautiful's ratings were that low..
   Because, I thought it was pretty well made..It didn't have the depth I like, but it was pretty funny and cute in the beginning^^ But I only watched up to episode 6, so I can't really rate the drama.

   OMG! yesterday me and YEHfan discussed about LS drama, that YEH should drops the drama since so many problems and today CDBloom posted out...hooray, I am happpy for her..I wish she continues roles in romcom and when she reach her 30 than she can plays serious roles..I am sucker for happy ending.

   I have the same thoughts w/ you all guys!! Hong Sister's writting is so unpredictable and never disapointing (for me) and they really can control viewers.. and if one day YEH works together w/ them, i'm sure enough that will be a great drama.. Well, whoever the writer and PD, as long as Miss YEH on it, absolutely will be a great success!!!!
   So~ curious what's the drama.. Hopefully this drama has the new storyline from YEH's past drama

   hmmm.... if this rumor is true, this'll be so interesting to follow the update. Hong's sisters film always get high interest, as santaiah17 said, "their dramas are often popular, funny, have good writing and ratings" and freaking popular. for my part, i see their films have very good content. My Girl, Hong Gil Dong, You're Beautiful, 'Delightful Girl Choon Hyang and some more have very good content. i hope there will be more for us to hope

    Hmmmm not a big fan of the Hong Sisters. The only ones I've liked of their creation was My Girl and Delightful Girl Choon Hyang. The rest were a bit bleh. They are popular but the ratings for their drama is mostly below average.

    I wish that YEH would work with the Queen Seon-Duk PD someday or come across a really amazing script like Baker Kim Tak Goo.

    But I'll support her whatever drama she decides for her next project.

    Maybe Love Song has just been postponed....for some reason, I have this feeling that they already have the male lead and are waiting for that guy to finish his lined up project ...or maybe not

    Personally, I don't feel like ratings are important. They are just numbers!
    A drama's success can ABSOLUTELY not be determined by how high its ratings are... There are many crazy good acting in dramas that many fail to recognize. Hong Sisters' dramas may have low ratings, but they are no doubt, successful. The dramas' success is not testified in numbers, but in the impact it leaves in viewers' hearts.

    Yes, Hong Sisters are definitely a big name when it comes down to writing dramas--Yet I feel YEH needs to step out of her rom-com shell(: I mean I ADORE her in that genre, but we all know that she can play that role so well already... actresses cannot play it safe. I'm hoping she'll get a challenging role to portray<3

    Hong Sisters writing is just not my cup of tea that's all. Nothing personal. After watching Queen Seounduk and Baker Kim Tak Goo and how amazingly written the story was and how well directed those dramas were, I am hoping that YEH will pick something just as good or something even better.

    Doing another romcom is not a good idea. Hopefully she'll pick something different, even if the ratings will be low, it's ok just as long that she can hone her craft even more.

    I agree with both of you..but there's only 1 thing I am praying and hoping for.

    Hopefully before January 2011 End - we can have some sort of SOLID proof that YEH is Confirmed to do PROJECT/S which would help calm down my uneasy heart.

    It's really good to hear that there are lots of project awaiting YEH, but I'm quite disappointed to hear that Love Song is not pushing through. I know a lot of YEH-Erik followers that are anticipating their team-up. I know that there was one project before supposedly for both of them which did not materialize. So, if the new for Love Song not pushing through is true, then this is the 2nd time for YEH-Erik team up to fail. I'm sad to hear this news although on the hand I am happy for what's happening to YEH's career. Well, whatever will be...will be.

    I would LOVE if YEH could work with Queen Seon Deok PD, coz it's one of my most favorite sageuk. Very good story line, very well-made.

    Though I wish to see Love Song asap (and I have a feeling it's not totally cancelled), I kinda think this is the better way. Just wait till the hype cool down and then pick it up again. I don't want them to rush a good drama too much just to please the fans. Coz the production could become pretty floppy...

    Same as Jnccrs onni, Hong sisters are not my cup of tea. I don't really like any of their works... like they don't leave impression on me after I finish watching. But I haven't watched Delightful Girl Choon Hyang, so maybe I could check it out ^^

    Anyway, I rarely watch K-drama now unless it's highly recommended So my knowledge of PDs and writers are limited to those highly successful ones. hehehe.

    Thanks for all the updates!! I also agree, I have a feeling that Love Song isn't dead yet. I am a little sad because I was actually looking forward to Love Song, I thought it would've been good.

    I am also not a huge fan of the Hong sisters. I think that they make cute dramas, but I also prefer depth. I like dramas that are unforgettable. I did like My Girl though because it made me laugh a lot. Although You're Beautiful is really popular, i didn't think it was amazing. I think it just appealed to the whole idol concept. No offense to anyone that likes the Hong Sisters.

    But for now, ill just trust yeh and wait until something is confirmed.

    That's exactly what I mean. Although YEH is an actress and a public figure who has many fans she can't please every fans's wish. As a human being she must need something/goal she want to be achieved, and more over she's an artist who need to hone her craft more, be that her drawing, singing or acting skill. She need to challenge herself, and she can't get that by doing the same genre over and over again. Sure, romcom has open her door to stardomness and famousness, but that's not the main goal. As an artist she need complacency and self actualization. And she can have those by broadening her scope and trying new things, like making an album (although she knows that she's not the best singer) and trying other genre for acting. The result might not be what she hope for but the point is not at the final result but on the process. Maybe on that process she find something to learn of and be motivated to improve her skill. Practice make perfect
    I just wish YEH's next project is a drama with depth meaning both in storyline and character with good execution. And I don't mine if it's got low rating (BTW YEH need to shed off her "Queen of rating" tag, it's quite a burden IMO)
