I agree. I' definitely split. One side just wants to see yoon eun hye in a drama. But then I do want her to act with someone who has a status as a top talented actor rather than an idol star. Nothing against Yoochun though, since i did like sunkyunkwan scandal.
Okay...earlier we had some rumors about YEH taking the role of 'Sweet Scandal', and later an article was release stating that SBS confirmed that YEH was to act in 'Sweet Scandal'.
But then there were articles claiming that YEH's company and the production team has denied the initial article saying that it hasn't been decided completely.
The latest news article says that YEH's company stated the following:
"'Suspicious Maids' has nothing to do with YEH as we haven't even met with them (production team) in a meeting. YEH is considering the project, 'Sweet Scandal' favorably at this time. But nothing has been completely decided yet."
If YEH's company confirms her participation in the drama, we'll post the details of the drama again. As for now, earlier post about the drama has been removed~sorry to those who left reply posts ㅠㅠ.

Rumors of another Yoon Eun-hye drama
…may be greatly (or at least slightly) exaggerated. But still, even though the talk is still in the rumor stage, where there’s smoke…
If we choose to take the optimistic approach, Yoon Eun-hye may be making her return to television this year, according to reports that she’s considering the project Sweet Scandal, which had previously gone by the title Lie To Me.
Sweet Scandal is a romantic-comedy drama planned for a post-Midas broadcast on SBS, and Yoon has been linked to it in the press before. It seems both sides (her management and the drama’s producers) are a little exasperated with the press’s preoccupation with her casting, and the PDs have stated that Yoon’s casting news is premature. Her rep also stated, “She has considered the project, but there has been no decision. Reports that she’s been cast have come out three times now. With the reports coming out every time she’s considering a drama, it makes it difficult to actually consider the drama.”
But it’s tough when you’re Yoon Eun-hye, whose every movement — however minute and/or insignificant — tends to draw huge amounts of attention. She’s also something of a hitmaker in dramaland, even more so than other, bigger, A-list-ier stars (like, say, Sohn Ye-jin or Jung Woo-sung, whose names alone haven’t been able to save sinking drama ships) — I think Yoon manages to hit that perfect sweet spot of big-name recognition, popularity, cross-generational appeal, and likable public persona. Even her lesser series have performed better than average, and her attachment practically has HIT! written over a project. (Goong and Coffee Prince were uber-hits; Vineyard Man was one of the only dramas to survive the Jumong juggernaut; and My Fair Lady still pulled in upper-teen ratings despite being a dismal wreck of writing and acting.)
The drama has two noted directors onboard: Kim Soo-ryong of the short melodrama series Father’s House and Kwon Hyuk-chan of this year’s body-swapping melo-fantasy Secret Garden. That would be right up Yoon’s alley, since I think she’s at her best in rom-coms with a few melo moments, rather than, say, straight-up drama like Love Song, the melodrama remake of Comrades that she signed up to do last year, but which has understandably stalled since Park Yong-ha’s suicide last summer.
There have also been rumors placing Yoon in contention for KBS’s upcoming Maids, the follow-up from Pasta‘s writer, and MBC’s Discovery of Affection, the Hong Sisters project that also teased a Gong Hyo-jin possibility. Frankly, I’d be happy to see her in any of these dramas. She’s not the most skilled actress out there, but she’s just so darned likable — she puts so much of herself into her roles that what she lacks in technical ability, she makes up for with her big, open, enthusiastic heart.
Currently, Yoon Eun-hye is promoting her rom-com movie My Black Minidress, which releases this month.

i dont think it was a rumor cause YEH did receive the role for that drama but she didnt want to star in it or something like that...then they sent the script to Sung Yuri...thats what i thought
I found out something today casting news, script of YEH's new project but I am hesitant to post the link here, cause thehousecompany is still holding out on information.
I just hope that my fellow YEH fans in here, will not bash one of the male leads for we shouldn't meddle in his private affairs cause first and foremost, we should respect him as YEH's co-actor. Everything we say or do will reflect on YEH so hopefully we can be supportive to YEH and whoever ends up working with her.
Like I said in one of my previous posts, we should also be considerate about fans of other actors who might also be lurking in our thread...

'Sweet Scandal' will be produced by Verdi Media, which was the company that was to produce 'Love Song'.
This is the initial planning report that was submitted to the investors. Hence, the actors listed can change or it could have been updated to show that these are the actors they have signed so far. These documents are first presented to the domestic investors and translated for foreign investors as well. This project is for Verdi Media, which had also purchased the right to make 'Love Song'.
The scenario posted on the site is the original, in which YEH plays a high ranking government official. But it has been reported by news that the main character will play an executive in an event marketing company instead.
I noticed something interesting though, the plan calls for casting the actors from January thru March, which means that the writer had some idea that 'Love Song' wouldn't work out. The plan calls for 'Sweet Scandal' to be aired from May~August domestically and internationally. The filming was scheduled for March~June originally.

Lee Suh Jin is one those actors who may not have many fandom outside of his work, but has a really big following in his dramas. He was the leading actor for several famous dramas. Many people think if this casting is confirmed, this will be the best casting of all dramas that are scheduled to be aired in May, July. There's an expectation that this could become a huge hit with this cast.
Park Si hoo, as many of you know was the leading actor in 'Princess Prosecutor' and 'Queen of Reversals'. I really like this actor, he's very solid. It seems that many people are saying that if this cast in confirmed, this will be the first drama to check it out, and they would at least watch episode 1 to see what happens^^
If this is confirmed, it would be the biggest name actor YEH has acted with (at the time of filming) so far.

Thanks a lot CDBloom for your info. If this is confirmed (I really hope so) this is what I'll call a solid casting for YEH's drama (as far as YEH acting career). LSJ maybe had a setback after his personal life "turbulence" but no one can deny that he's a good actor (I've seen some of his dramas). Whereas PSH is an up and coming actor with a lot of charms and good acting skill. That is my dream to see YEH act with some solid actors. Hoping they will confirmed this soon.

Thanks for the translations CDBloom. I was a little upset with Love Song going down since I'm a fan of Park Shi Hoo, so I'm glad to hear that there is still a chance. And Lee Suh Jin is a good actor. I've seen some his work too. I see how this possible casting line up is creating a buzz. If these three actors get together, the acting should be really good. But I'll just have to wait until things are a 100% confirmed. I don't want to get too excited, I feel as if YEH is burdened by all the rumors of possible dramas since it was stated in an interview that it makes it hard for her and the company to choose.
Veridi Media doesnt want to let YEH go that easy....they so want to work with her cause she is just too loyal...

It's not just KJE but Lee Hyori (the popular singer) too. It’s been reported that he also dumped LH (before he's began dating KJE) almost 2 years since they began their relationship. So the rumor began that he's dating celebrities just to boost his career or something.
I don't usually fret about someone personal life (except YEH 
) and I also don't mind if he's pairing with our girl in this project (if it confirmed) as long as he doesn't use the same trick to her 
But overall I'm happy with this pairing (in term of acting)

ok i read this from another site but i dont know how true it is...the site said the reason why the drama 'Love Song' didnt work out because of the male lead backed out because he would have gotten paid less than YEH.....i think thats a crazy reason to do not do a drama since it had the potential to be a great one...but i quess some people are just more greedy than others (than YEH=P )...oh well its his lost...wow this is the longest post i ever wrote!!!
